This semicircular tool handmade by artisans in Japan features Hidden Core Technology to help maintain its shape over time and prevent skipping or streaking. The synthetic bristles allow for use with any texture, including powders, creams, and gels.
Named after traditional Japanese calligraphy brushes, hanen translates to “half-moon” or “semicircle.” This unique shape is ideal for picking up pigment, applying it evenly to lids, and building color intensity.
